Sainik School holds Inter house obstacle competition

NAGROTA, Nov 23: Sainik School Nagrota hosted its annual Inter House Obstacle Course Competition. This unique event is a hallmark of the institution, designed to impart essential skills and qualities necessary for a career in the Armed Forces.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from 20 Cadets, representing the four distinguished houses. The competition comprised a series of nine challenging obstacles, each demanding physical prowess, mental resilience, and teamwork. Among the obstacles were a 10 feet wall, Scrambled Net, Crawling Ramp, and more, creating a demanding course that tested the mettle of each participating cadet.
Jhelum Senior emerged victorious in the competition, securing the coveted title with an outstanding overall average timing of 1:33:00 minutes. Chenab Senior displayed commendable performance and secured the Runner-up position with a noteworthy overall average timing of 2:33 minutes. Capt (IN) AK Desai, Principal presented medals and trophies to the winners and lauded their agility and spirit of sportsmanship.
The best group timing was achieved by Trikuta cadets Harshdeep Singh, Cadet StanzinTsespal, Cadet Akshit Shan, and Cadet Pritviraj Sambyal. Their synchronized efforts and exemplary coordination resulted in an impressive timing of 1:18:75 minutes. The Inter House Obstacle Course Competition at Sainik School Nagrota not only showcased the physical prowess of the cadets but also highlighted their dedication to teamwork and discipline. The event serves as a crucial aspect of their training, aligning them with the skills necessary for a successful career in the Armed Forces.
