JAMMU, Sept 10: The cadets of Sainik School Nagrota delivered an exceptional performance at the Jammu District Athletics meet held at Jammu University. With remarkable skill and determination, they swept the medals, achieving a total of eight gold, eight silver and three bronze medals. Many athletes have been selected to represent Jammu district at the Divisional Level Inter-District Competitions in Reasi.
The gold medal winners included Cadet Sneha Vishwakarma (Class 8) in Long Jump, Cadet Kriti Sharma (Class 8) in Triple Jump, Cadet Shivam (Class 8) in Long Jump, Cadet Raghav Chib (Class 10) in 3000m, Cadet Rudra Ranjan (Class 7) in 400m, Cadet Saksham Verma (Class 11) in Triple Jump, Cadet Ayush Kumar (Class 8) in 600m, and Cadet Vikash Yadav (Class 8) in High Jump.
Their impressive results have earned them the opportunity to represent Jammu district at the Divisional Level Inter-District Competitions in Reasi. Principal Capt (IN) Shibu Devasia congratulated the cadets on their exceptional achievements and commended Havildar Shashi Kapoor APTC for his crucial role in their training and success.
