JAMMU, Sept 27: In the ongoing ‘Display Your Talent’ organized by the Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu, competitions of Classical Instrumental Percussion and Non Percussion and Creative Dance were conducted at Brigadier Rajinder Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu.
In Classical Instrumental (Percussion), Amit Anand from IMFA, Vibha Bharti from GCW Gandhi Nagar and Prabhat Bali from IMFA stood first, second and third respectively.
KL Verma and Neeraj Verma were the judges.
In Classical Instrumental (Non-Percussion), Ashish Kumar from IMFA stood first, while the second position was shared by Suhasini from The Law School, JU and Chanchal Bhat from IMFA. Savita Pandita from GCW Gandhi Nagar stood third.
Surinder Sapru and Parveen Sabharwal were the judges of the event. Dr Aroon Sharma was the Teacher Incharge for the event.
In Creative Dance, Sakshi Kumari from GCW Parade stood first, Manpreet Kour from Department of Education stood second and Vasu Aggarwal from SPMR College of Commerce stood third.
The Certificates of Merit were awarded to Shubhangi from GCW Gandhi Nagar and Nikhil Manhas from SPMR College of Commerce.
Randhir Kumar and Ajit Singh were the judges, while Dr Garima Gupta was the Teacher Incharge.
Dean Students Welfare, Prof Satnam Kour congratulated the winners of the events.
The events were coordinated by Dr AR Manhas, Assistant Dean SW, Sumeet Sharma, Drama Instructor and Ifra Kak, Cultural Officer.
Hemant Magotra, Ambika Thusu, Kirti Sharma, Sonakshi, Radhika and Swantantra did the Hall Management. The sound was operated by Kulbhushan Thakur.
The events of Classical Dance and Skit would be conducted tomorrow at Brigadier Rajinder Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu from 10 am onwards.
