JAMMU, June 23: First Sakshi Squalia Memorial Day Night Cricket Tournament, organized by Daljit Singh,  Jinder  Kumar, Ajay Kumar, Ajay Kumar and Jasbinder Singh Sonu, concluded at village Raipur  Domana, here today.
The Tournament was organized in the memory of Baby Sakshi who lost her life in a tragic accident.
A total of 32 teams participated in the event.
Senior  PDP leader, Badri Nath was the chief guest on the valedictory function, while Sarpanch Gurbachan Singh presided over the function.
The final was played between R K Cricket Club and Paloura Cricket Club.
Batting first, Paloura Cricket Club scored 105 runs in 16 overs, while R K Cricket Club scored 106 runs in 13 overs and won the match easily.
Badri Nath in his address emphasized upon the youth to play sports and games and shun addiction, besides urging upon the Administration to construct play grounds in rural areas so that youth generate interest in the games.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were DySP  (Retd) Inder Jeet Kapahi, Anil Puri, R L Thappa, Joginder Singh and  Ajay Kumar Pandoria.
