REASI, Jan 20: General Manager (GM), Salal, AG Ansari, who is also chairman, Institute Management Comm-ittee (IMC), along with other members of the committee inspected the on-going civil /infrastructural development works of ITI Reasi during a meeting of IMC held in College premises.
Ansari expressed satisfaction about the execution of workshop blocks being constructed at an approximate cost of Rs one crore out of which NHPC shares Rs 46 lacs. The block under construction is expected to be made available to the student by the start of next academic session.
The institute is being upgraded under PPP mode with Salal Power Station as its Industry Partner. Since the adoption of ITI by Salal Power Station as Industry Partner, the Institute has been well equipped with required tools for various trades, furniture, learning & training material, etc.
Since adoption, NHPC has spent about Rs 80 lacs for up-gradation of the Institute.
