POONCH, Dec 11: Salil Raina clinched the Men’s Singles title of District Poonch open Table Tennis Championship 20th time by defeating Sandeep Luthra in a keenly contested match by 12-10, 11-9, 9-11 and 12-10 while in Men’s Doubles the duo of Salil Raina and Sandeep Luthra beat Saleem Bandey and Gurjot Singh by 11-7, 11-9, 10-12, 12-10.
DDC Poonch Sajad Ahmed Khan was the chief guest on the occasion while SSP Poonch Shamsheer Hussain was the guest of honour.
Earlier, president, District Table Tennis Association, Poonch, Ajeet Singh Jeet presented a detailed report about the achievements of the Association in district for promoting the game of Table Tennis in last more the last two decades.
Speaking on the occasion, chief guest said that district Poonch is blessed with beautiful grounds and administration is happy to see huge talent in indoor games in Poonch District.
