SAMBA, Dec 22: Samba District Cycling Championship 2019-20 concluded at Vishwakarma Mandir, Vijaypur, here today.
The chief guest on this occasion was Parveen Sangral, President Muskan Foundation, who declared open the championship.
About 50 cyclists from the district took part in the championship in various age groups and showed their talent.
The championship was held under the supervision of Ravinder Singh President, SS Gill General Secretary Jammu and Kashmir Cycling Association, Om Parakash Associate Secretary and Veteran Cyclists of Jammu and Kashmir Cycling Association, Ravi Salgotra, Vikesh Sharma, Rakesh Verma and Shubam Digpal.
In under 12 section, Guransh Singh stood 1st , Vansh Chalotra 2nd and Saiom Mahajan 3rd, while in under-14 Pranav Verma bagged 1st position, Vansh Sharma 2nd and Harkirat Singh 3rd, For under 17 group Harsh Singh 1st , Sahil Choudhary 2nd, Akash Sharma 3rd.
In elite group Amit Samyal 1st, Akash 2nd and Deepak Sunani 3rd , while in women section, Neha Devi stood 1st, Jahanvi Devi 2nd and Ashmia Mahajan 3rd.
