SAMBA, Dec 6: In continuation to its drive against the absconders/criminals, Samba police apprehended an absconder who was wanted in a case FIR registered at Police Station (PS) Samba during the year 2013.
Police said a team of Police Station Samba headed by SHO PS Samba apprehended an absconder namely Maskeen Ali, son of Jang Ali of Mahmoodpur tehsil Bishnah district Samba who was wanted in case FIR No.253 /2013 U/S 457/380 RPC registered at PS Samba. The accused was evading arrest since 2013 after the commission of the crime, police said.
Police said the accused is a hardcore criminal involved in multiple cases registered against him at Police Station Samba, Police Station, Gandhi Nagar and Police Station, Bishnah district Jammu.
Accordingly, the absconder was produced in the court of law and the arrest warrant U/S 512 CrPC issued against him was executed.
