SAMBA, Jan 1: District Police defeated Media Cricket Club by 9 wickets in a Cricket match which was played at District Police Line, here today.
Media CC gave the target of 101 by losing 8 wickets in 17 overs, which was easily chased by the District Police team in just 10.1 overs by losing 1 wicket and thus registered nine wickets win over Media CC.
Inspector Deepak Jasrotia played a fantastic knock of 51 runs and was awarded with player of the match, while Inspector Sunil played a knock of 38 runs, studded with two high sixes and five fours.
