RAMBAN, May 21: District Samba, Reasi, Kathua, Rajouri and Jammu girls won their league matches on the second day of the State Level Inter-District Under-17 girls kabaddi Championship being held here.
In the league matches of the championship being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, Kathua defeated Jammu and Rajouri overcame Ramban.
Earlier, Rajouri lost to Kathua in a tough contest and defeated Ramban in an easy battle, while Kathua registered victory over Doda.
In Pool-A Samba won all three matches, defeating Kishtwar, Budgam and Reasi easily, while Reasi got better of Budgam and Udhampur.
The tournament is being conducted by District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Ramban under the patronage of Director General Youth Services and Sports, Navin Agarwal and under the supervision of DYSSO, Ramban, Jarpal Singh.
