SAMBA, Oct 13: Samba team will take on Chak Manga team in the final of Jagruk Hindustani Premier Cricket League (JHPCL), being organised by Gallant Sixth Battalion of Samba here today.
Earlier, the first semifinal match was played between teams of Samba and Raipur. Batting first, Samba team made 152 runs in 18 overs. In reply, Raipur team bundled out at paltry 34 runs in 8 overs for all out. Man of the match was presented to Lucky for scoring 25 runs and scalping 1 wicket.
In the second semifinal match, Chak Manga team crushed Jatwal team by a close margin of 10 runs and registered berth in the final of the tournament. Batting first, Chak Manga team scored 104 runs in 19 overs. In reply, Jatwal team failed to chase the target and bundled out at 94 runs. Man of the match award was presented to Vishal of Chak Manga team for scoring 15 runs and taking 6 wickets.
