JAMMU, Sept 28: Samvedna Society collaborated with Medanta Hospital Gurgaon to organise a free heart check-up camp here at Sheela Resorts, Talab Tillo, Jammu, today.
A statement said that the event was inaugurated by Additional Deputy Commissioner of Jammu, Sandeep Seointra, along with the presence of former Minister Sat Sharma (CA) and Municipal Councillors Parmod Kapahi, Sanjay Baru, Jeet Angral, Neelam Nargotra, Dr Pardeep Mahotra, and others.
The medical team of experts, including cardiologists and physicians, provided comprehensive health check-ups to the residents of Talab Tillo. The services included Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT), ECGs, Blood Sugar, Blood Pressure checks, and various other tests, all offered free of cost.
The primary objective of the camp was to deliver top-notch healthcare services directly to the people’s doorsteps.
In total, more than 152 patients received thorough examinations by cardiologists, and approximately 110 were assessed by physicians.
Addressing the gathering, ADC Jammu, Sandeep Seointra, expressed deep appreciation for Samvedna Society’s dedicated efforts. He emphasized the vital role organizations like Samvedna play in extending assistance and care to the community.
Sat Sharma commended Samvedna Society for their exemplary provision of medical facilities to the people. He urged individuals to prioritize their health and underscored the need for creating awareness about heart diseases.
Keshav Chopra, Chairman Samvedna Society, in his address, reiterated the Society’s unwavering commitment to providing the best healthcare facilities to the common man. He assured the audience that he and his team would continue to organize free medical camps for the community in the future.
