Sanda, Taolu competitions held in All India Wushu C’ship

JAMMU, Feb 16: Sanda & Taolu (Men and Women) competitions were held in the ongoing All India Inter-University Wushu (M&W) Championship 2023-24 on the fourth day at University of Jammu.
Dr Ginny Dogra, Director DIQA, University of Jammu was Chief Guest on the first session of the event along with Er Ameet Targotra, Assistant Director DIQA. In the second session, Rajan Sharma, International Technical Official BFI and General Secretary J&K Amateur Boxing Association were Chief Guests. During the third session, Dr Vikram Sahi, Librarian Dhanvantri Library, University of Jammu was the Chief Guest.
Sanda (Men) semi-finalist players in different weight categories are (In 48-KG) Vinod Pal of University of Jammu will take on Sahil of CBCU Biwani and Santosh Kumar Mishra of Chandigarh University will take on Lakshman Mali of JNVU.
In 52-Kg category Sagar of C.T University will take on Ankush of University of GJUS&T and Ankit of RRBM University will fight with Musharaf Qaroom of University of Kashmir. In 60-Kg Chiraj of GJUS&T will take on Aabid Hameed of GNDU.
