JAMMU, Feb 14: Sangram Sena has demanded the Jammu Municipal Corporation to name the municipal park existing in Mohalla Kucha Naar Singh after Padam Shree Late Ram Nath Shastri, the legend of Dogri language, poet and writer.
The Sena members in a meeting held here today under the chairmanship of Sena president, Ram Rattan Raina, also stressed the JMC Commissioner, Kiran Wattal, to install an idol of Late Ram Nath Shastri within the park, which he alleged is a burning demand of the public of the vicinity.
The meeting supported their demand saying putting the name of Shastri Ji on Municipal Park and installing his idol, will keep his contribution towards Dogri language alive amongst the people of Duggar Desh.
