Sangram Sena, NYBO organize Diwali function with children

JAMMU, Oct 22: On the eve of Diwali festival falling tomorrow, the Sangram Sena (J&K) organized a grand programme to felicitate the differently able and orphan children living in orphanage at Ved Mandir Ambphalla, here today.
Different stalls of eatables and other gifts were installed for the children by the Sangram Sena. The children enjoyed the eatables. They were also provided crackers to give a feeling to them that they are part and parcel of the society.
In his address R R Raina, president of the Sangram Sena said that Sena is committed to help and support those neglected children especially orphans and disabled to boost them. He also appealed the public to come forward and help these children.
Capt (retd) Rattan Singh Langeh general secretary, Sangram Sena, Rajesh Banathia, Th Balwan Singh, Narinder Kumar and others also attended the function.
In another function the New Young Blood Organization held a Diwali celebration function at Primary School Vijaypur. The organization also distributed the sweets and fruit among the children.
Chairman of the Organization Ashok Verma on the occasion appealed the people to come forward in voluntary blood donation and help the Thalsimia patients who need blood transfusion most. He said 400 people are suffering with Thalsimia in Jammu district and due to shortage of blood these people have to suffer, he added.
Ramesh Verma, Rattan Lal Verma and others were present on the occasion.
