Jammu, Dec 16: Expressing concern over lack of development activities in Jammu West constituency, independent candidate from Jammu West, Sanjay Gupta today said a pragmatic approach is required towards providing the people of these areas an adequate parking, pollution free hygienic atmosphere and lanes and bye lanes free from filth and garbage besides congestion free movement of traffic.
He asked the people to cast their votes in favour of that candidate and party whom or which they feel will address to these issues rather than the one involved in playing politics of polarization.
He cautioned them that some forces are trying to create an atmosphere of mistrust so that they may garner some more votes.
Gupta said this while interacting with the residents during his campaign in the localities of Janipur, Roop Nagar, Jawahar Nagar, Bhawani Nagar here today.
Addressing the residents and his supporters on the occasion, he appealed the electorates to judge the candidates themselves and defeat the nefarious designs of parties with divisive agendas.
He said that he has always been and will remain with the people in every situation come what may.
Sanjay Gupta added that he is from one of them and knows what is lacking in the system and what is required to improve it. He said them that development of all wards of Jammu West is his first priority.
He said that among various major points in his agenda, issue of unemployment tops the priority list.
He added, if voted to power, he will take up the issue in the Assembly and make the lawmakers work on a policy towards encouraging the youth towards self employment.
