JAMMU, Mar 12: Jammu District Chess Association today nominated Sanjeev Mahajan as chief patron so as to strengthen the sports body in the Winter Capital.
Earlier, a meeting of the district body held at Hotel Nek wherein it was unanimously decided by the members to nominate Mahajan to the post.
The nomination was made by president of the Jammu District Chess Association, Sanjeev Gupta in the presence of president, Atul Kumar Gupta and vice president, Baldev Raj of the All J&K Chess Association.
