Sanskrit Month inaugurated at SKJAVST

JAMMU, July 23: To promote Sanskrit language, Sanskrit Month was inaugurated here today at Shri Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sansthan Trust (SKJAVST).
Speaking on the occasion, Mahant Rohit Shastri, Trust president said that every year Sanskrit Day is celebrated on Shravan Purnima and this year it will be celebrated on August 19.
“The Trust has decided to celebrate Sanskrit Month again this year, starting today with the distribution of 5000 plants outside Pacca Danga Police Station with the cooperation of Social Forestry Division Jammu,” he said adding that the Sanskrit Month will conclude on August 19 (Shravan Purnima).
Other dignitaries also spoke on the importance of Sanskrit and Environment conservation.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were VHP J&K, Ladakh working president, Rajesh Gupta; SSP Kulveer Handa; SP Rural, Brijesh Sharma; Regional Director Social Forestry Jammu, Ravindra Singh; DFO Social Forestry Jammu Division, Safeer Hussain Shah; SHO Pacca Danga, Rakesh Jamwal; Social Forestry Division’s, Dinesh Joshi; R.K Chhibber, K.K Sharma, Sat Pal Sharma, Vineet, Prof. Sharad Chandra Sharma, Deepak Gupta, Dilbahadur Singh Jamwal, Uttam Chand Sharma, Nigam Gupta, Pramod Sharma, Sunil Sharma, Naresh Raina, Vijay Seth, Narottam Sharma, Pawan Khajuria, Rahul Salathia, Sunil Singh, Rakesh Gandotra, Saurav Singh and other Trust members and SFD employees.
