Sarpanchs, Panchs on educational tour to Amritsar, Jaipur, Delhi

JAMMU, Oct 20: In its continued efforts for the development of villages in Khari Bowl through Operation Sadbhavana, Rashtriya Rifles Battalion based at Nachlana under Counter Insurgency Force (Delta) has  organized  a educational-cum-motivational tour ‘Sair-e-Watan’ for 25 Sarpanchs and Panchs of  Ramban district from today.
The tour was flagged off from Chanderkot (Ramban) by the Commander who appreciated their enthusiasm and wholehearted support in organising this tour. He encouraged them to make maximum use of this opportunity to interact and exchange views, ideas and thoughts with their counterparts in the states of Punjab and Rajasthan which would further enable them to implement various projects and undertake developmental work in their area.
Sarpanchs and Panchs  will be visiting villages in Amritsar district of Punjab and  Jaipur district of Rajasthan which is a hub of development and progress in the field of agriculture, welfare and civic action.
They will also get an opportunity to interact with their counterparts and officials of various civic bodies to gain first hand information on the activities being undertaken by the village Panchayats.
During the tour the Sarpanchs and Panchs will also visit various places of historical interest such as Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh  in Amritsar, Hawa Mahal, Sheesh Mahal,  Amer Fort, Jantar Mantar  in Jaipur and Rashtrapati Bhavan,  India Gate, Jama Masjid & Red Fort in Delhi.
The educational tour will conclude on October 31.
