Sat inaugurates free eye check up camp

JAMMU, Aug 18: Sachdeva Netralaya with the cooperation of Corporator Ward 40, Neelam Nargotra, organized free eye check up camp at Fine Arts College, Poonch House, Talab Tillo Jammu.
The camp was inaugurated by former Minister and Ex-MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA), who was accompanied by locals and political activists of the area. Phaco Cataract Surgery (Stitchless), Diabetes Eye Check up, Lasik Surgery (for Spectacle removal) was done by specialists Dr Sanjay Sachdeva and Dr Abhishek Sachdeva. Free Medicines were also distributed to the needy patients.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma appreciated the efforts of local Corporator and Sachdeva Netralaya for doing such a noble cause for the people of Jammu West. He said that in some circumstances due to money problems, people are unable to take medicines and such medical camps help them to get free checkup, treatment and free medicines. He said that such type of camps is the need of the hour and they must be organized regularly in order to provide health services to people especially needy.
Giving details of the camp, Neelam Nargotra said that more than 400 patients were checked in the camp by the doctors and their team which gave awareness about health to all the patients.
Dr Sanjay and Dr Abhishek stated that they have been organizing free eye check up camps from a long time now and they also stated that they will continue with their efforts to serve the needy in all possible ways.
State Media Secretary BJP Dr Pardeep Mahotra, District President Mahila Morcha Veena Gupta, Vice President Puneet Mahajan, Rajesh Saini, Arun Dubey (Kaka), Adv Annu Ghai Behnal, Yash Pal Shivgotra, Sachin Nargotra, Sahil Koul, Sushma Devi and several others were also present.
