JAMMU, Oct 23: Former Minister and Ex-MLA Jammu West, Sat Sharma (CA) kick started construction works for Shiva Multipurpose Community Hall at Janipur Colony.
The funds for construction of hall were sanctioned from the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) of former MLA during his tenure and the work was delayed due to code of conduct of elections and other reasons. It was taken up in hand soon after the process got cleared. The works will be executed under the supervision of JMC at an estimated cost of Rs 5.28 lakh.
Sharma was accompanied by Corporator, Ward 37, Sunita Gupta, JMC officials, local residents and political activists of the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that the hall once constructed can be used by the locals for many things.
