JAMMU, May 21: Senior BJP leader, Sat Sharma here today visited Ward no. 36 and listened public problems there.
Speaking on the occasion, Sharma said that locals raised basic demands like sanitation facilities, up-gradation of lanes etc.
He said these problems were brought into the notice of concerned Jammu Municipal Corporation officers who have assured proper solution in a day or two.
The BJP leader further claimed that during his tenure as an MLA, the roads and lanes of the Ward were completely macadamized and many transformers were also upgraded and installed in the area apart from regular water supply for the benefit of residents there.
Counsellor of Ward no. 36, Subash Sharma, who also accompanied Sat Sharma, said some development works will be taken up in coming days to make Ward no. 36 a model one.
BJP leaders Praduman Singh, Mohan Singh Rana, Deepak Kumar, Dharam Singh, Roshan Lal Gupta, Vicky Suri, Rahul Gupta, Rohit Gupta, Rajinder Singh, Anu Baloria, Sunit Sharma, Joginder Sharma, Auradha Devi and others were also present on this occasion.
