JAMMU, Feb 26: Continuing the spree of development in Jammu West, BJP MLA Sat Sharma (CA) kick started construction works of Nallahs and drains in Ward Number 12 and 41 of the Constituency. Besides senior officials of UED Department and JMC, residents of the area, social and political activists were also present on the occasion.
The MLA kick started the work of Nallah at Krishna Nagar area of Ward number 12 which will be constructed under the supervision of UED at an estimated cost of around Rs 20 lakhs and construction of drain at Talab Tillo area Ward number 41 which will be constructed under the supervision of JMC is estimated at around Rs 2 lakhs.
Addressing the gathering, Sat Sharma (CA) said that it is his prime duty to strive an infrastructure for the public of Jammu West so that facilities could be provided to them at their door steps.
He said that he will fulfill all the demands of the masses of Jammu West and will work round the clock for the betterment of the society as well. He also assured the people that every possible initiative which could help in making their lives comfortable will be taken up on priority so that the basic demands of the public could be met.
He stated that he is committed to work for the improvement of Jammu West in all aspects and he wishes to make it a Model Constituency during his tenure. Sharma also stated that he will also take up the developmental works in the Constituency which will include improvement of power and electricity supply, construction of roads and other touching other aspects as well pertaining to the development of Jammu West.
The residents of both the wards also thanked the MLA for completing their long pending demand.
Executive Engineer, UED Gupta, AEE UED, AEE JMC Rajiv Pandoh, Ayodhya Gupta, Praduman Singh, Pushpa Wazir, Jaideep Sambyal, Sanjay Sawhney and others also accompanied the MLA during the occasion.
