JAMMU, Dec 31: BJP State president & MLA Jammu West, Sat Sharma CA, along with Director Local Bodies Sojanya Sharma, Mohalla Welfare Committee Gurha Bakshi Nagar president Joginder Sharma and Party leaders, flagged off the annual yatra of Shiv Khori. This yatra commences from Jammu every year on December 31.
The 4th yatra, which was flagged off today by BJP State president, has 23 buses carrying more than 1300 pilgrim drawn from Ward No. 27,28 and 29 of Gurrah Bakshi Nagar to the holy Shrine situated in Reasi district.
Sat Sharma, while congratulating the organisers of the yatra, said that it is indeed a splendid religious activity which, provide an opportunity to the Hindus to visit ancient holy cave of Lord Shiva and seek blessings for the welfare of the family and society. He said that such holy pilgrimages also serve as a bridge to bring together the people who otherwise are always busy in their family affairs and social works.
Sat Sharma also appreciated the Mohalla Welfare Committee for making this yatra free for the people and further added that other organisations and even individuals should come forward to arrange  such more pilgrimages to places which have historical and religious significance.
BJP Leaders and members of the Mohalla Welfare Committee including Ayodhya Gupta, Tripta Jamwal, Sanjay Sawhney, Surinder Choudhary, Atul Sharma, Ankush Sharma, Rakesh Mishra, Sanjeev Sharma, Deepak, Nanu, Nitta, Raman Sharma, Ravi Sharma, Shankar were present on the occasion.
