Satish urges administration to provide relief to flood hit people

JAMMU, Sept 9: Satish Sharma, president LYC Jammu Poonch, conducted an extensive tour of Roop Nagar, Janipur, Shivalikpuram, Janipur Colony of Jammu city and urged the administration to provide immediate relief to the flood affected people.
Mr Satish demanded long term shelter, food and medical support in the flood affected areas. While expressing his anguish and sorrow on unprecedented flood damage in Jammu, Mr Satish alleged negligence of Jammu Municipal Corporation.
He said that the officers who do not show seriousness towards their duty, should be replaced with honest ones.
The youth leader laid stress on the JMC to remove flood garbage from the lanes and drains of the Jammu city so that people may not get further affected due to lack of sanitation. He has also laid stress for restoration of water supply in the affected areas, which are reeling under acute water scarcity.
