Satwant Dogra intensifies poll campaign

SAMBA, Dec 1:   National Conference  candidate from Samba Assembly constituency Satwant Kaur Dogra intensified her election campaign in Kandi belt of the constituency by holding series of public meetings  and door- to- door campaign.
While addressing the gatherings at various places,  Ms Dogra said that while campaigning in various areas of the constituency, it is becoming ample clear that Samba Assembly is all set to elect its woman MLA.  Be it at home or outside world, women have equal and respectable position in the society. But when it comes to politics, males seem to have dominated the domain.
Satwant said that she has taken up politics with a clear agenda and mission for the development of Samba and being a woman she is in a better position to understand the problems being faced by public specially women and children and appealed to the people of Samba Assembly particularly women to vote in large number to elect its first ever woman MLA.
People of the area demanded road connectivity, drinking water and health care facility at night and regular supply of electricity.
After interacting with people Ms Dogra said that she is the only candidate in Samba who has placed her agenda in writing before people of the constituency and reiterated that she is committed to connect each village with road and drinking water facility. She said people have seen the era of corruption and neglect of Samba in the last 12 years and are looking for a change. She appealed people to support National Conference to ensure the development of Samba.
