KATHUA, Jan 19: State Bank of India,  the country’s largest commercial bank in its alternate delivery channel programme introduced two new machines first of its kind in the town here as Self Service Kiosk (SSK) & Coin Vending Machine (CVM), here today.
On the occasion, District Development Commissioner Jitender Singh was the chief guest while   Regional Head R-III J&K, S K Kapoor as guest of honour.
The chief guest said it was amazing to see the advancement of technology. It was the time when customers were forced to wait for hours together in long queue to have normal banking. He expressed gratitude to have such initiatives for public in Kathua.
The demonstration of SSK & Coin CVM was given by branch head C.M.Bhat and the chief guest  used his ATM-cum-Debit Card for availing SSK facilities and used CVM for coins also.
