JAMMU, Jan 5: The J&K Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes Development Corporation has been rated as one of the best performing Corporation of the country.
Rajan Sehgal, Chairman cum Managing Director of the NHFDC, New Delhi presented the appreciation letter to Dr. Bharat Bhushan, Managing Director of J&K SC, ST, OBC Development Corporation at India Habitat Centre in New Delhi today during the course of annual review meeting of the State channelizing agencies of the country.
The State Corporation has been presented the honour in recognition of its robust recovery mechanism and overall progress achieved by the Corporation during the current fiscal. The heads of 16 State Corporations besides senior functionaries of State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Andhra Bank, HDFC Bank & Regional Rural Banks were present in the function. Besides the Managing Director, the State Corporation was represented by Mohd. Iqbal Kataria, Deputy General Manger, Projects and Babbar, AAO.
Dr. Bharat Bhushan, the Managing Director apprised that the apex body has also awarded incentive to the state corporation to the tune of Rs 2 lakhs which will be utilized for further betterment of the Corporation. He stated that the honour bestowed on the Corporation is due to the collective efforts of its officers and officials.
