SAMBA, May 26: SCC defeated VCC by 6 wickets in the ongoing District Samba JKCA Premier Championship, being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association at Pandit Prem Nath Dogra Ground, Smailpur, here.
Batting first, VCC scored 113 runs in the stipulated 20 overs by losing 8 wickets. Sahil top scored with 37 runs off 43 balls including 4 fours and 1 six, while Rajeshwar contributed 14 runs to the total. For SCC, Shubham took 2 wickets.
In reply, SCC chased the target in 15 overs by losing 4 wickets, thus won the match by 6 wickets. Shubham top scored with unbeaten 52 runs off 36 balls, while Ashubham contributed 25 runs.
