JAMMU, July 14: Singh Cricket Club (SCC) Akhnoor defeated Prince Cricket Club (PCC) by 26 runs in the ongoing Chevrolet Cup T20 Cricket Tournament, sponsored KC Motors and being played at KC School ground, here.
Earlier, batting first Singh Club scored a good total of 142 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. JB Singh and Dilbag scored 37 and 25 runs respectively. Ashish took 3 wickets and Jagdeep grabbed 2 wickets.
In reply, Prince Cricket Club were bundled out for 116 in 17.1 overs and won the match. Prince scored 50 runs for his side and Vishal made 27 runs. Rajinder took 4 wickets and Rajesh took 1 wicket. Prince Cricket Club won the match by 27 runs. Rajinder was declared as ‘Man of the Match’, Sadiq Hussain Malik, Honey Chib Singh and Bunty Kumar were the officials of this match.
