SCC trounces JCC by 3 wickets

JAMMU, Aug 20: Shastri Cricket Club (SCC) trounced Janipur Cricket Club (JCC) by 3 wickets to enter into the next stage of the ongoing 1st Jammu Cricket Premier League Pink Ball Tournament, being organized by Krish Sports and Event at KC Sports Club, here today.
Batting first, JCC scored 101 runs by losing all wickets in 19.4 overs. Savan scored 21 runs, Watson made 19 runs while Manik scored 17 runs. For SCC, Sahil scalped 3 wickets while Deepak Dogra and Vicky Raina claimed 2 wickets each.
In the second inning, SCC easily chased the target in 18.4 overs by losing 7 wickets and thus won the match. Deepak Decker made 34 runs off 31 balls while Deepak Dogra and Varun also scored 20 and 14 runs, respectively. For JCC, Mohit, Savan and Rahul scalped 3 wickets each.
Deepak Dogra was adjudged as Man of the Match and was awarded by chief guest Vishal Rajpoot.
The match was officiated by Rakesh and Faiz as umpires, while Rehan Rana maintained the scorecard. The tournament is being played under the supervision of Sagar Sadhu, Rehan Rana and Ave Kachroo from Krish Sports and Event.
