School Education Employees Joint Front formed

JAMMU, Oct 4: Different trade organizations of the School Education Department today decided to come under a single banner with name and style as School Education Employees Joint Front.
Decision in this regard was taken in a meeting of members of different trade organizations of Education Department, which was held here today under the presidium of Ganesh Khajuria (State general secretary of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum), Narinder Singh Jamwal (chief advisor All J&K 10+2 Lecturers Forum), Hari Singh (president United School Teachers Association) and Mrignayni Slathia (president All Teachers Association).
All the speakers expressed great concern about the present education scenario and the problems and issues being faced by the teaching fraternity. They stressed upon the unity among different trade unions to pursue the issues and pressurize the State Government for mitigating the issues which are causing mental agony, financial loss, deprivation of genuine rights and humiliation as well.
“It is the need of the hour to be united to pursue the problems of teaching fraternity before the Education authorities vigorously and effectively,” they stressed and unanimously decided to come under one banner.
All the leaders of different organizations consented to the part of the said formed Joint Front in the broader interest of School Education employees and pledged to work with mutual consensus, zeal and dedication to achieve success in resolving long pending genuine issues being faced by the employees of Education Department.
Prominent among those, who attended the meeting, included Soorat Singh Toofani, Ramesh Singh Slathia, Rajeev Sharma, Upasana Slathia, Ravinder Singh, Susheel Sharma, Kuldeep Singh Bandral, Satish Chadha, Jasvir Kour, Ritu Dhiman and others.
