UDHAMPUR, Oct 18: A Govt school kitchen at Faugari in Kulwanta zone of Ramnagar has been awaiting repair work for the last two years.
The students and locals staged protest the other day demanding repair of the school kitchen shed. They shouted slogans against the District and the Provincial Education authorities. The alleged that even the District Administration has not taken cognizance of the matter.
The locals claimed that school kitchen shed was completely damaged about two years ago because of heavy rain and thunder-storm. Despite repeated reminders to the concerned authorities ( ZEO/CEO) this shed was not repaired. The students and school staff is facing lot of problems for the cooking of Mid Day meals. They sought intervention of Director School Education Jammu.
