Schools celebrate Eid with fervour

JAMMU, Sept 1: Various Schools across Jammu City celebrated Eid with great enthusiasm and fervour, here today.
Delhi Public School organized a special assembly to celebrate the festival ‘Eid-ul-Azha’ and the assembly began with the school prayer followed by Naat  (a traditional Muslim prayer) by the school choir.
The students then presented a mesmerizing Sufi Qawali “Main Hamd Karun, Teri Tarif Karun”, in praise  and appreciation of God, written and composed by senior music faculty, Mr. Jai Paul Gill.
Principal, Ruchi Chabra spoke on the occasion.
Chirag Public School, Malik Market celebrated the festival of Eid-ul-Zuha with fervor in the school premises today. The school gave a festive look with stars, buntings and balloons.
A skit was presented based on the legend associated with the festival.
Puja Sharma, the Director of the school spoke on the importance of the day, while Haji Bashir Ahmed, chairman of the school was the chief guest.
JP World School Jammu celebrated Eid with enthusiasm and spirit. The program began with an outstanding performance by our class 1st students on a catchy song ‘chand nazer a gya’. Principal JS Hundal praised the students and teachers for presentation of such an excellent programme.
Stephens International Public School celebrated Eid in a special assembly with great fervoru and excitement today. Qawwali was the highlight of the programme and students presented skit and dance items also.
Eid, the festival that upholds the spirit of brotherhood and love, was celebrated in Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu today. The school was colourfully decorated and resounded with laughter and joy of music as the students and teachers celebrated Eid in the school. School Management and Principal cum Vice Chairperson, Rohini Aima spoke on the significance of the day.
Rich Harvest School, Bari Brahmana celebrated Eid- Ul- Azha with fervour by holding a special assembly. An open air prayer meeting was held to the delight of all. Students were enlightened to the importance of the day. Principal Anita Bhatia felicitated the students on the special occasion. Ruchi Charak, the Trustee of the school congratulated the staff and students on this auspicious occasion.
Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua celebrated Eid with fervour and spirit in the school today. Principal of the School, Shuchita Gupta in her address threw light on the importance of the day.
Apple Kids International Pre-School, Bantalab celebrated the festival of Eid-ul-Azha with great enthusiasm and fervour in their school premises today. Principal of the school, Arti Sharma briefed the students about the importance and legends associated with the festival Eid-ul-Azha.
