Inter-Collegiate Kho-Kho Tourney

JAMMU, Dec 27: GGM Science College lifted the trophy of Inter-Collegiate Kho-Kho Tournament in Men’s Section while GCW Gandhi Nagar College won the title in Women’s category, here today.
Final matches of the Inter-Collegiate Kho-Kho (Men and Women) games were played today in Government College for Women (GCW) Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. Dr Vinod Bakshi (Sports Coordinator CUJ and Physical Director GGM Science College) was the chief guest while Aijaz Malik (Physical Director, Government SPMR College of Commerce) was the guest of honour on the occasion.
In Men’s section, GGM Science College lifted the trophy by defeating Government SPMR College of Commerce with 15-09 points whereas in Women’s Section, GCW Gandhi Nagar College lifted the trophy by defeating Government MAM College by 14-04.
The Tournament was organized under the supervision of Dr Roopali Slathia (Physical Director, GCW Gandhi Nagar) and overall supervision of Dr Vinod Bakshi. The matches were officiated by Gurpreet Kour, Amrinderpal Singh, Sahil Dev Singh and Rohit Sharma.
Prof Yashpaul, Prof Nidhi Suri, Ramandeep Kralia (Physical Director, GCOE Jammu), Neenu Sawheny (Physical Director, Government MAM College), Neelam Chalotra (Assistant Physical Director, Government MAM College) were among various dignitaries present on the occasion.
