JAMMU, Mar 1: Scientia International School celebrated ‘SARANG-2019’ with pomp and show in its school premises, here today.
Chandar Mohan Gupta , Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation was the chief guest, Tarseim Lal Gorka, Zonal Education Officer and Kuldeep Singh Chib, Municipal Corporator were the guests of honour.
Prominent among other dignitaries present on the occasion were Parshotam Bhardwaj, Chairman and KR Magotra Vice-Chairman and Swati Basotra, Member Managing Committee Scientia International School.
The programme was held under the overall supervision of Founder Director and Principal Bharti Bhardwaj.
The event began with a Ganesh Vandhana by the toddlers of Nursery. The theme for the annual day was ‘Colours’ which was presented meticulously by students from Grade Nursery to Grade 2.
The talented students presented mesmerizing cultural events including dances, plays, skits, etc.
The play also had musical elements to bring symphony and melody into life.
Interaction Session on ‘Parenting And Child Care’ was conducted by Swati Basotra, who encouraged parents to have guilt free parenting and to build their self esteem with confidence.
Chief guest, Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation praised the school for raising the educational standard in the city.
Tarseim Lal Gorka, Zonal Education Officer also spoke on the occasion.
Finally, Bharti Bhardwaj presented vote of thanks.
