JAMMU, Mar 10: Scientia International School held its Annual Showcase “Sanskar Utsav” and Graduation Ceremony, a vibrant event celebrating cultural heritage, values and academic achievements. This year’s event also paid tribute to International Women’s Day, honouring the contributions of women in society.
The ceremony was attended by Monika Sharma, Tehsildar Bhalwal, as the chief guest and Parshotam Bhardwaj, Managing Director of the school, as the guest of honour. The event’s theme, “Sanskar Utsav,” emphasized the importance of moral values and ethics in shaping young minds.
The program began with the lighting of the lamp, symbolizing wisdom, followed by cultural performances showcasing the significance of traditional values. A special segment dedicated to International Women’s Day featured a dance performance honouring women leaders, educators, and role models.
Monika Sharma praised the school’s efforts in instilling cultural and ethical values in students and highlighted the importance of women’s empowerment and gender equality. Bharti Bhardwaj, Founder Director Principal, delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing the importance of both cultural roots and academic excellence.
