JAMMU, May 16: The Scouts and Guides wing of Model Academy Jammu in collaboration with J&K Bharat Scouts and Guides Association, organized a 4-day Praveshand Pratham Sopan Camp in the School premises, here.
120 Scouts and Guide cadets of four premier institutions of the State participated in the Camp and the participating Schools included Jodhamal Public School, St Peters School, DBN and Model Academy.
The main objective of the Camp was to create social awareness and instill values among the youngsters that would mould them into responsible citizens.
The Camp was earlier inaugurated by Dr Chitra Mishra, Principal Model Academy, while Dr Adit Gupta, Joint Director MIER and Rupa Gupta, Management Representative were the chief guests on the concluding function. Vice Principal, Usha Gadoo was also present on the occasion. Usha Chunni was the leader of the Camp, while the members involved in the Camp included Harcharan Singh, Manjeet Kour and Neeru Talwar.
