UDHAMPUR, July 15: Kendriya Vidyalaya No-1 Udhampur is hosting the District East Jammu Region Tritya Sopan Testing Camp for Bharat Scouts and Guides, which got underway here today.
Over 72 Scouts and 33 Guides from the different KVs of Jammu region are participating in the Camp with great zeal and enthusiasm.
Rakesh Jamwal CPO and Joint Director Planning Udhampur was the chief guest, who inaugurated the Camp by lightning the traditional lamp.
The chief guest and other dignitaries including School Principal, Dr R Prasad, Vice Principal, Basanti Khampa, Headmistress Usha Koul, Vikramaditya and Sanjay Kohli were honoured with scarfs.
Kishore Kumar(HWB)presented the agenda for the Camp.
The chief guest in his address highlighted the evolving importance and value of Scouts and Guides in the society.
N S Chib, Examiner and Divisional Commissioner, Sanjay Kohli, Examiner and District Organising Commissioner Jammu East, Examiner, Sunita Mahajan and Examiner Kanchan were present in the Camp.
Sanjay Kumar Purohit presented the vote of thanks.
