JAMMU, Apr 28: For selecting nominations of schools for participating in Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar (SVP) 2021-22, Government of Jammu and Kashmir today constituted a UT Level Screening Committee and District Level Screening Committees.
The UT Level Screening Committee shall screen nomination received from districts and select schools for the purpose between 22-05-2022 to 30-06-2022. It shall submit the nomination for the National Awards upto 22-05-2022.
This committee is headed by Principal Secretary, School Education Department and comprises Director School Education Kashmir/Jammu, Director Health Service, Kashmir/Jammu; Director RDD, Kashmir/Jammu; Chief Engineer, Jal Shakti, Kashmir/Jammu; Director Urban Local Bodies, Kashmir/Jammu; two eminent school teachers, representatives of Civil society organizations as the Members.
The District Level Screening Committees shall screen applications received from schools for SVP-2021-22 and then select school for consideration of the UT Level Screening Committee by 15-05-2022.
These committees are headed by Deputy Commissioner concerned or any other officer nominated by the DC. CEO concerned, Superintending engineering /Executive Engineer (Jal Shakti Department), CMO concerned, three eminent school teachers of the district and representatives of Civil Society shall be members of these committees.
