JAMMU, June 8: In connection with 13th Hockey India Junior Men National Championship scheduled to be held at Raurkila Odisha, screening of Jammu and Kashmir Hockey Team was conducted at KK Hakku Stadium, here today.
Divisional Sports Officer, Ashok Singh, Dr Jagdeep Singh and Ajay Gupta were present there from J&K Sports Council during the trials.
Former President and General Secretary Hockey India, Rajinder Singh; former Observer Hockey India, G S. Bakshi (Commonwealth Games Glasgow Scotland), Ishan Sharma, Treasurer Hockey J&K, Gurpreet Singh, Vice-President Hockey J&K, Supinder Deep Singh Bakshi, General Secretary Hockey J&K, RP Singh Sarna and Harmanon Singh were present during the screening.
Also 2 minutes silence was observed from all members of Hockey J&K, officials of Sports Council and players to condole the demise of former Senior Vice- president Hockey, J&K Sheikh Maqbool and former General Secretary Hockey J&K, Mohinder Kour.
