JAMMU, June 10: The hospital staff at Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Akhnoor suspended work for couple of hours, owing to some misunderstanding between them and police cops late last night.
However, on the assurance of MLA Akhnoor Rajiv Sharma and SDPO Akhnoor Naresh Singh, staff resumed their duties.
As per police sources, SHO Akhnoor along with his cops visited SDH Akhnoor late last night and started vacating the hospital compound, where people were sleeping unnecessarily.
The hospital staff reached the spot and had some argument with the police team, owing to which the staff went on strike today morning and suspended the work for couple of hours.
During strike, the patients had to face problems.
On getting information, MLA Akhnoor Rajiv Sharma and SDPO Akhnoor Naresh Singh rushed to the spot and pacified the staff members.
After assurance, the hospital staff resumed their work.
