AKHNOOR, Oct 26: The Association of Young College students organized a first ever Akhnoor Marathon, here today.
It was entirely organised by an association of young college students.
The marathon was flagged off by Rayees Mohammad Bhat, SDPO Akhnoor from St Francis Higher Secondary School at 9am.
Over 400 athletes ageing from 10 to 75 participated in the event.
While Rayees Mohammad Bhatt SDPO Akhnoor was the chief guest, the SDM Akhnoor Nagendra Singh was the guest of honour.
St Francis Hr Sec School bagged the overall trophy for maximum participation in the event.
