SRINAGAR, Jan 19: The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) celebrated its 4th Raising Day today here at 1st Battalion Headquarters, Burzalla.
Ab Waheed Shah, Commandant, SDRF Kashmir, while taking salute on March past praised the role played by SDRF during rescue measures and stressed upon to rededicate them in service to the nation.
On the occasion, cash rewards and certificates were awarded to the Water Rescue QRT and those SDRF personnel, who were toppers of the swimming course, conducted by SDRF at Dal Lake in ten batches during the year 2015.
