Second Integration T-20 Cup, One Day series conclude

JAMMU, Feb 28: The Second Integration Cup T-20 and one day series organised by the Game Changer Cricket Club concluded here today at Gharota stadium. The series was organised in association with Country Cricket.
The last match of the series was played between Game Changer Cricket Club R S Pura and Kashmir Strikers Cricket Club Srinagar wherein Chairman Nirbhay Bharat Foundation Tarun Uppal was the chief guest.
Earlier, Game Changer won the toss and elected to bat first. In the first inning Game Changer scored 144 runs by losing 7 wickets in 20 overs. Vansaj scored 29 runs while Mohit made 25 runs, Goldi scored 24 runs, Ankush made 18 runs and Janveer contributed with 17 runs.
From Kashmir Strikers, Manzoor took 2 wickets, while Mehraj, Tanveer, Jahangir, Adnan and Faheem took 1 wicket each.
While chasing down the target, Kashmir Strikers scored 129 runs by losing all the wickets in 19.2 overs. Farhan scored highest 27 runs, while Jahangir and Gowhar scored18 runs each.
From Game Changer, Ankush, Atish, Aryan and Ritansh took 2 wickets each. Sachin and Raghav took 1 wicket apiece.
Game Changer Cricket Club won the match by15 runs.
For all round performance, Ankush (Googly) was declared as Man of the Match.
Farhan was declared as Best Batsman of the series and Sachin Sharma was declared as Best Bowler. Aryan Dassi and Tauhid Albi were given best wicketkeepers award.
Tarun Uppal said that the twin divisions of the UT have immense talent and again they have proved their mettle and made J&K proud. “There is a dire need to further development of sports infra with which the sportspersons would be able to prove themselves besides providing them a suitable playing platform,” Uppal said.
Naveel Koul Sports Secretary NBF was the guest of honour.
Amit Dassi, Mohammad Iqbal, Vikrant Sharma, Amit Padha and Jasbir Singh were also present.
