LEH, July 20: Vikram Singh Malik, Secretary, Youth Services and Sports Department of the Union Territory Ladakh today visited various construction sites to oversee the advancement of key sports facilities. These include the Ice Hockey Rink at NDS Sports Complex Leh, Sports Hostel and Training Facility in Leh, completion of the Youth Hostel at Open Stadium Leh, and the construction of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) Training Academy at Phyang.
He was accompanied by officers, officials from respective departments and stakeholders, Vikram Singh Malik led the inspection, engaging with contractors to expedite the ongoing projects and ensure timely completion.
Chief Engineer, Ladakh Power Development Department (LPDD), UT Ladakh, Tsewang Paljor, concerned Executive Engineer PWD (Construction & R&B), UT Ladakh, OSD to Administrative Secretary, Youth Services and Sports Department, Dr Stanzin Thakchos,UT Ladakh, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, (DYSSO) Leh/Kargil, Tsering Tashi/ Adid Ali, UT Ladakh, Representative of the Ladakh Ice Hockey Association, Tundup Namgyal and relevant contractors were also present on the occasion.
