RAJOURI Feb 15: The Central Government’s recently launched schemes are for ensuring social security and a dignified life for every Indian and BJP party workers are working hard to achieve this mission. These remarks were made by BJP J&K general secretary and former MLC Vibodh Gupta today while addressing a party meeting at Hartal near here.
The programme was organised by the local residents of the area to express their support to BJP.
Vibodh said that presently PM Modi is working hard because he loves every Indian and wants to see them marching towards the path of growth and development. In his address Vibodh named a large number of welfare schemes recently launched by the Central Government. While referring to a very special scheme called SMILE (Support for Marginalised Individuals for Livelihood and Enterprise), Vibodh said that this scheme has been recently launched for the most vulnerable sections of the society. This very special scheme of the Central Government aims to provide welfare measures for the people engaged in the act of begging. The scheme will provide necessary legal protection, social security and a promise to a secured life to the targeted group, Vibodh remarked.
Throwing light on the transforming face of J&K, BJP district president, Rajinder Gupta said that today many massive projects are going on in the Jammu region. All these infrastructure development projects are giving a new recognition to J&K. He further added that the recently started Jammu Tawi River Front project and recently inaugurated musical water fountain with laser light and sound show at Baghe-Bahu in Jammu are bound to redefine tourism in Jammu. All these projects are because of the special attention of the Central Government towards new Jammu & Kashmir, he added.
The meeting was also addressed by president Municipal Council, Rajouri, Mohammad Arif who appreciated the liberal support provided by LG administration in various developmental projects in Rajouri. He also sought support from the civil society for proper implementation of all developmental projects which will ultimately benefit the common masses.
