JAMMU, Nov 25: The J&K Dharmarth Trust distributed sports kits to the students of Shri Raghunath Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, Birpur, aiming to promote sports among the youth and encouraging them to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
SSP Ashok Sharma (Retd), Secretary of the Trust visited Shri Raghunath Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya and handed over sports kits to the students in presence of managing authorities. Parveen Khajuria, Principal of Shri Raghunath Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, Anil Kumar Sharma and Kuldeep Kumar, Sanskrit Teachers, Bindu Chib, English Teacher, Vinod Kumar Computer Teacher and Sushil Singh Maths Teacher were present.
Ashok Sharma emphasized the crucial role of sports. “Drug addiction is a serious problem that can have devastating consequences for youth,” he added. He also urged the Principal of Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya to start yoga classes for the students, especially weaker students as part of a broader initiative to create a more holistic and supportive learning environment.
Besides this, the Secretary has also reviewed the ongoing development works in the Shri Raghunath Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya. He informed that the Chairman Trustee has sanctioned enormous funds for the renovation and upliftment of the Shri Raghunath Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya.
