SRINAGAR, Mar 20: Secretary Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council, Jawaid Ahmed Shah visited Sher-e-Kashmir Indoor Stadium, alongwith the Engineering wing of the Council and reviewed the renovation/maintenance works of the Stadium.
He directed the Engineering wing to ensure that the works are completed within two weeks to enable the State to host the scheduled National and International events.
He also advised the Sports Officer Kashmir to make sure that the washroom block, changing rooms and the allied portion of the stadium is cleaned properly within a week’s time.
The Secretary assured thae officers and officials that the latest specific sports material including mats for every individual sport will be tendered and purchased soon.
