JAMMU, Apr 24: Sehwag Cricket Academy defeated Sidhant Cricket Academy by a narrow margin of 8 runs in the Junior Pitch T20 Cricket Tournament, which was inaugurated by ace cricketer Mithun Manhas in presence of Hardev Singh Jamwal at Sehwag Academy ground, Heritage School, here.
Earlier, put into bat, Sehwag Cricket Academy scored a decent total of 146 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Kartik was the top scorer with 59 runs, while Shivansh contributed 48 runs to the total. Daksh also scored 27 runs. Chitwan from Siddhant Academy took one wicket.
In reply Siddhant Academy managed to score 138 runs in the stipulated overs, thus lost the match by a narrow margin of 8 runs. Dhananjay was the top scorer with 38 runs, while Kumar Aryan contributed 29 runs and Chitwan chipped in with 18 runs. Kartik took one wicket. Kartik of Sehwag Academy was adjudged as man of the match for his brilliant performance.
